Optional services for an offshore company include, for example, appointing a BVI director. This is not a statutory requirement, but it may be needed or desirable in certain circumstances.

Together with nominee services, offshore professionals can also assist in opening bank account for the new (IBC) company. For this, the banks normally require providing certified true copies of the records of the company.

If offshore agent becomes also the signatory of the account, he acts only according to the instructions of the client, which may be given also in the written form.
